Charles D. Jackson is a licensed New Orleans tour guide, award-winning journalist, and publisher of St. Bernard Magazine.
A native of Sanford, Florida, Jackson is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in mass communications. He has served as:
• Editor for five Florida newspapers
• Division I college sports information director
• National communications director for a social justice organization
7 months following Hurricane Katrina, Jackson relocated to New Orleans to assist in recovery efforts. He has lived in Chalmette since 2012 and is deeply involved in preserving the cultural and historical legacy of St. Bernard Parish.
